I offer limited-scope representation for appeals of immigration judge decisions to the Board of Immigration Appeals (BIA). This is document-based appellate work: reviewing the immigration judge's decision and the record, and preparing the appeal and briefing.
I take BIA appeals only. This is not general immigration help. I do not provide representation in immigration court or before USCIS, consular processing, bond or custody appeals, motions to reopen or reconsider, or fee waiver requests. BIA appeal deadlines are strict — generally 30 days from the immigration judge's decision — and are not preserved by contacting me or submitting a form. If your deadline is near, seek counsel right away.
To request a review, complete the BIA appeal intake form. I respond within 48 hours when I am able to consider a case, and will schedule a call to discuss next steps.
Individual legal representation is limited to the BIA appeals described above. An attorney–client relationship is formed only through a signed written engagement agreement. Submitting a form, sending documents, or contacting me does not create an attorney–client relationship and does not preserve any filing deadline.
